YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota lawmakers passed a budget of over seven billion dollars last month which also contained a one hundred million dollar cut in state sales tax.

State Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Dave Owen says there is still a lot of federal pandemic dollars in the budget.

Owen says legislators dedicated many dollars to state prisons.

Owen says there are still some questions for legislators.

Owen is on his post session tour of local Chambers of Commerce & scheduled to be in Aberdeen Thursday.
