PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- Local governments and developers are waiting on rules from South Dakota Housing to use the two hundred million dollars the legislature set aside for residential projects.

State Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Dave Owen says we have to keep the two hundred million dollars in perspective.

Owen says affordability of housing will still be a problem.

Owen says childcare also has to be a consideration.

The Executive Board of the legislature will meet next week and childcare may again be considered for a summer study topic.
