SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday, Democrats offered their response to Governor Noem’s announcement for no special session following the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade.
Democratic candidate for Governor Jamie Smith listed a number of bills they were going to bring up at the special session.
Smith talks about the state needing to support reproductive rights of women.
Representative Linda Duba believes this will now be a campaign topic for the upcoming 2022 elections.
Abortion issues will be brought up in the 2023 South Dakota legislative session.
