PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Wednesday, the South Dakota Department of Health held a press conference on the continue fight against COVID-19.
Secretary of Health, Kim Malsam-Rysdon gave an update on the number of vaccines this week and said there will be an increase next week.
Malsam-Rysdon said pharmacies could start to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine as early as next week.
Malsam-Rysdon talks about the next group of people that can be vaccinated beginning next week.
Last week Democrats in the South Dakota House put a proposal out about a mask mandate for the state. Malsam-Rysdon reiterated the stance of Governor Noem and the SD Dept of Health.
