SD DOT express concerns about HB1281

PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- A bill passed by the South Dakota legislature is causing great concern among some state agencies and that bill hasn’t even been signed into law yet.  Department of Transportation Secretary Joel Jundt brought his concerns over House 1281 up to the state Aeronautics Commission last week.

Jundt says it could impact cities that receive funding from the state.

Jundt says the bill comes down to transparency with some state agencies.

Governor Kristi Noem has vetoed one bill so far that was sustained and has signed 215 bills into law.  Lawmakers return to Pierre next week to take up an further vetoes on Monday.
