SD GF&P receive update on hunting license sale

PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Commission was updated this month on hunting license sales for most of the last year.  Chad Switzer, Wildlife Division Director with the G-F-and-P says sales were on track with previous years.

Habitat Stamp sales brought in around two-and-a-half million dollars in the last license season.

Small game licenses have seen nice increases.

Non-resident youth small game license sales are up 18-percent over the three-year average.  Switzer says the Commission will get a report in January about the projects completed and underway using Habitat Stamp dollars.
