PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota legislators are running out of days to get their work done.

House Majority Leader Kent Peterson of Salem says they had a very busy week.

Peterson says he is proud of the work they did to get the “Freedom Scholarship” program passed.

Peterson says it is an historic year for the legislature.

There are only four days left in the main run of the 2021 session.
