YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota legislators this week failed to override Governor Kristi Noem’s veto of a bill making revisions to the Uniform Commercial Code.

District 18 Representative Julie Auch of Lesterville was one of the main opponents of the bill and says it needs changes.

Auch says she hopes a better bill is brought back next year.

Auch says the state can still make updates on time.

The bill had the support of South Dakota Bankers and most business organizations.
