SD Legislature’s Executive Board appoint members for Ellsworth Task Force

DEADWOOD, S.D.(KELO)- The B-21 Raiders and 14-thousand airmen and airwomen are on their way to South Dakota’s Ellsworth Airforce Base.

State Senate Majority Leader Casey Crabtree says the state has to be ready to receive them.

The Legislature’s Executive Board has appointed members to the Ellsworth Task Force to coordinate the state’s efforts.

Senator Crabtree says the magnitude of the two-billion dollar upgrade at Ellsworth will have an impact on the entire state.

The base is about to become home of the new B-21 Raider Bomber fleet…and 14-thousand new airmen and airwomen.

South Dakota Senate Majority Leader Casey Crabtree says that also means additional investment on the part of the state.

Crabtree and other members of the Legislature’s Executive Board appointed membes to the Ellsworth Task Force, to coordinate state efforts.
