PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- While many employers and businesses are having a hard time finding enough people to fill numerous vacancies, that’s not a problem for the South Dakota National Guard.

Adjutant General Jeffrey Marlette says they continue to hit and exceed their numbers.

Marlette says they are able to stay staffed through a number of deployments.

Marlette says they haven’t had to change their incentives to maintain their troop strength.

Marlette says the Guard has two upcoming deployments, one to Africa and another to the US southern border.
