PIERRE, S.D.(KWAT)- This is the week the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission makes a decision on a permit for the proposed Navigator CO2 pipeline.
The PUC has held more than two weeks of hearings spread out over August and early September, hearing arguments both for, and against, the pipeline.
Commissioner Chris Nelson says in the days leading up to the final decision, the three member commission does not consult with each other about what they’re thinking.
Hearings on the proposed Summit Carbon Solutions CO2 pipeline begin next week.
