PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission is considering having wind power projects file progress updates during and after construction.

Chairman Chris Nelson says they can’t regulate or correct without more information.

Pierre lawyer Brett Koenecke who often represents wind power applicants wasn’t a fan of the idea.

Nelson then suggested a check list.

Commissioners asked their staff to come back with some proposals at a future meeting.
