PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- There are two major pipeline hearings coming up this summer for the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission.
The first is the Navigator pipeline application.
PUC Chair Kristie Fiegen says the supporting documents in that case are growing.
Fiegen says she and the other two commissioners will be doing lots of homework.
Fiegen says state law sets out how the commission makes their decisions.
Fiegen will recuse herself from the Summit Carbon Solutions hearings in September because the pipe crosses some of her family’s land. State Treasurer Josh Haeder has been appointed to sit in on that case.
