South Dakota Secretary of State Steve Barnett says he would like to run for a second term.

Barnett, the states chief election officer, says he thinks last years election was run very well.

Barnett says the election was a team effort in a difficult time.

Barnett, a republican, was state auditor for eight years before being elected Secretary of State in 2018.
