PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota State Treasurer Josh Haeder was elected vice chair of the National Association of State Treasurers at their recent convention.

Haeder says it’s a chance to share what South Dakota is doing.

Haeder says he sees it as an obligation to share.

Haeder says he is also learning from other states.

Haeder, a republican, is serving his first term as state treasurer and has announced his plans to run for reelection next year. 

Haeder will be at the October Community Affairs Luncheon at the Ramkota on October 7th.
