ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Thursday South Dakota State Treasurer Josh Haeder visited our studios to help promote Cash-It Program.  This program is set up to help those who may have unclaimed properties.

Haeder talks about how much unclaimed property there is in the state.

Haeder offers the different between scams and the Cash-It program going on now.

Any claims that needs to be filed must be mailed to the offices in Pierre.  Haeder explains why the County Treasurers Offices are not involved for now.

So far this year, 526 Brown County residents have filed claims totaling over $143,000 in unclaimed properties.
