PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- People are getting ready to travel following a year of pandemic caused shutdowns and cutbacks.
South Dakota State Tourism Secretary Jim Hagen says state attractions are getting high marks in travel surveys.
Hagen says the pandemic seems to have changed some travel priorities.
Hagen says they are also projecting a safety message to potential visitors.
This is National Travel and Tourism week, kicking off the summer travel season.
