SDDOT to study airports and air service this spring & summer

PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The South Dakota Department of Transportation will start a study of airports and air service across the state.

Department Secretary Joel Jundt updated the state Aeronautics Board at their meeting last week.

Jundt says they study could lead to better funding opportunities for airports across the state.

Jundt says the study would give them better baseline information.

The commission endorsed the plan with meetings set to start next month.
