SDGA Junior Championship @ Cattail Crossing in Watertown, SD (Round 1 of 3)
On Monday the SDGA Junior Championship(s) started up from Caittail Crossing in Watertown, day two is today and day three is tomorrow. Regionally, of note, Kaden Wookey of Clark is tied for 2nd place in the boys 12 to 13 division. Kenzley Heath of Sisseton is in 4th place in the girls 12 to 13 division. In the boys 14-15 group, Seth Hettick of Roscoe is tied for 4th place, with Finn Anderson of Aberdeen tied for 9th. In the girls 16 to 18 division, Aberdeen’s own Olivia Braun is the leader in the club house after day one, carding a four over par. Miller’s Jayce Pugh is in 2nd place with a five over. And in the boys 16 to 18, Aberdeen’s Peyton Brust is tied for 21st, but only six shots back of first place.
