PIERRE, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – After the first day of the two day ESD tournament in the capital city, the Aberdeen Central Boys tennis squad sits in sixth place of nine squads. Three Golden Eagles will be partaking in day two looking to finish the two-day stretch on a high note. AJ Prehn will face Jager Jurack (from Mitchell) in the consolation title in flight one singles. In flight two singles, Mason Ligon went 1-1 on the day & will face Luke Jerke (from Mitchell) for the consolation title on Tuesday. In flight six singles, Gannon Pederson will look for the consolation title against Ozil Sharma of Harrisburg. For full results of day one out west, check below…

ABERDEEN, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – On Monday afternoon from the campus of Northern State University, the Aberdeen Roncalli Cavaliers picked up a 9-0 victory over the Bulldogs of Milbank. Battling the windy elements, the Cavs picked up victories from Cason Hellwig, Palmer Johnson, Gannon May, Landon Zikmund, Jayden Reecy & Ezra Feickert in singles play. Roncalli also earned doubles wins from Johnson/May, Hellwig/Zikmund & Reecy/Haskell.
