SF Washington       15 – Put up eight runs in the first inning (including a leadoff HR + grand slam).

Aberdeen Central   0 F/3 innings

[Aberdeen Dome]

– It was a tough go for the Aberdeen Central softball squad from the Aberdeen Dome on Thursday as SF Washington dropped the Golden Eagles, 15-0. Washington led 8-0 after Aberdeen Central could record their first out in the top of the 1st & never recovered.  The Warriors hit two HR’s in the first, including a leadoff HR + a grand slam, to make it 6-0, at the time. Kylee Hoffman led off the bottom of the first with a double, but the rest of the offense was unable to drive her in. The Warriors added to their lead in the top of the 2nd putting up another crooked number, seven to make it a 15-0 lead. With that lead, the ballgame would end after three innings, as the Golden Eagles were unable to get the offense rolling. Aberdeen Central returns to the diamond on Tuesday of next week, as they’ll battle O’Gorman on the road for a doubleheader at 4 & 6p.
