BROOKINGS, S.D.(WNAX)- The South Dakota State University Foundation last week officially kicked off their next major fund-raising campaign called “Bold & Blue.”

Foundation President Steven Erpanbach says they have a solid start.

Erpanbach says most of the money raised will go to scholarships and faculty.

State support for higher education has dropped over the past ten years. Erpanbach says that can help them make their case.

Erpanbach says they hope to hit their goal in two to three years.
