SDSU making plans for fall semester

BROOKINGS, S.D. (KJJQ) – South Dakota State University officials are making plans for the fall semester return of students.

SDSU President Barry Dunn says it remains a fluid process, but they’ve formed a “Jacks R Back” task force as they begin to get campus back in gear.

Students will move in sometime in mid to late August. Dunn says they may start it early to spread it out.

He says things will be different, including some classes.

Dunn says the safety of students is paramount.

President Dunn says they’re including the community and Brookings Health System in their discussions.
