BROOKINGS, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota State University President Barry Dunn says, because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, they’re making preparations for a “virtual graduation ceremony” on May 9.
He says they’re also working on plans to allow graduates to take part in a future ceremony.
What about next fall? Dunn says they’re planning on three possible scenarios.
SDSU has cancelled all activities on campus until August. The rest of this semester and the summer term are being taught through online instruction.
