SDSU President talks about budget in front of Joint Appropriations Committee

PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota State University President Barry Dunn was in front of the Joint Appropriations Committee of the legislature Monday.

He talked about their ongoing budget.

Not all that funding is from the state.

Dunn says they have had good academic success in the past few years.

Dunn says they also had their 10-year accreditation renewed in the last year.

The committee was working on the budget request from the Board of Regents for all the state’s public universities.
