ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Hub Area Habitat for Humanity’s Second Annual Kentucky Derby Party takes place Saturday, May 4, at the Dakota Event Center.
Activities will run from 4 to 10 p.m. Shaun Falken, Executive Director for Hub Area Habitat for Humanity, talked about the event.
There will also be live entertainment during the evening.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a derby party without the proper attire, so individuals are encouraged to wear their big hats and bow ties.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the race. Tickets for children 13 and under are $10. They are available at Help Build It Center, 126 S. Main St.
Falken said all of the proceeds stay local.
