Second case of measles confirmed in South Dakota

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The South Dakota Department of Health is reporting the second case of measles in the state, this time in Rapid City.

The department says people could have been exposed on June 1, Sunday, at Sam’s Club in Rapid City between noon and 6 p.m.

There is also possible exposure at the Dakota Premier Medical Clinic on Mount Rushmore Road on Monday, June 2, between 11:15 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.

If you were at those locations at those times, you’re asked to self-monitor for symptoms for 21 days after the exposure date.
