PIERRE, S.D. (KCCR) – Commercial airline service across the country is slowing returning to normal and that includes in Pierre. Pierre City Commissioner Jamie Huizenga, the Pierre Regional Airport liaison to the Pierre City Commission says the second flight to Denver is returning next month.
Huizenga says a temporary stop in Scottsbluff, Nebraska will continue to be a part of the Pierre to Denver route for the time being.
He says there are signs across the nation of a return to more regular air travel.
Pierre’s first flight departs for Denver at 9:10 a.m. and arrives at 10:34 a.m. with the stop in Scottsbluff. That flight returns to Pierre at 2:30 p.m. and leaves Denver at 12:05 p.m. The second flight is not stop from Pierre to Denver, departing the Capital City at 4 p.m. and arriving in the Mile High City at 4:24 p.m. Flight two leaves Denver at 5:40 p.m, stops in Scottsbluff and lands in Pierre by 9:13 p.m.
