FORT PIERRE, S.D. (KCCR) – Fort Pierre’s efforts to clean up municipal code violations and rundown properties are off to a good start under the guidance of Randy Seiler. Seiler, the Fort Pierre resident and former U.S. Attorney for South Dakota, has agreed to a contract with his hometown to help city officials clean up unsightly properties.
Mayor Gloria Hanson says they met with Seiler to set the scope of his work.
Hanson says Seiler is already getting into his work.
The contract with Seiler to deal with Fort Pierre’s code violators is for six months, expiring in April of 2020.
