SELBY, S.D. (Press Release) – A 15-year-old female has been identified as the person who died Sunday afternoon in an ATV crash southeast of Selby.
A 2017 Polaris Ranger XP 900 EPS ATV was northbound on 308th Avenue, which is a gravel road, when the driver, Tori Fiedler of Selby, lost control. The vehicle rolled and the driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the ATV. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. All information is only preliminary at this point.
