Senate Majority Leader discuss looking into Ellsworth Air Force Base

MADISON, S.D.(KELO)- South Dakota legislators have caught their breath and are looking ahead to next year.

As they do, committees will study Artificial Intelligence, protecting youth from harmful aspects of the internet, and property tax assessment procedures.

Senate Majority Leader Casey Crabtree says another area that needs focus is preparing for the arrival of the new B-21 Raider bombers at Ellsworth Air Force Base in the western part of the state.

One concern of people living near the air base…how to handle new elementary and secondary students that will arrive with the 14-thousand troops coming with the bombers.
