VERMILLION, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota voters will decide on legalizing recreational marijuana next month.
IM27 was petitioned on the ballot after an Amendment legalizing marijuana was overturned by the state Supreme Court.
Senator Art Rusch of Vermillion, a retired circuit judge, says his experience with marijuana was not good.
Rusch says there may not be the revenue bonanza for the state than many predict.
Rusch says some states have had more illegal trade in marijuana.
Supporters say its time South Dakota join the other thirty three states that have legalized marijuana in some form.
