VERMILLION, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota legislators spent most of this year’s session deciding how to spend hundreds of millions of mostly one time federal dollars.
Senator Art Rusch of Vermillion says it was surprising to hear some of those dollars are being returned to the federal government.
Rusch says he spent a fair amount of time in the past year on marijuana legislation.
Rusch says that work went up in smoke.
Rusch is term limited and will not be running for a legislative seat this fall.
