CANTON, S.D.(WNAX)- While tax reduction will be a major part of debate for the South Dakota legislature this year, lawmakers may have to make some tough choices.
Senator Jim Bolin of Canton says those choices could be between the sales tax on groceries or property taxes.
Bolin says an interim committee has some ideas on property taxes.
Bolin says there could be differences of opinion between the House and Senate.
Bolin served eight years in the House and is now in his fourth and final term in the Senate.
