WASHINGTON, D.C.(WNAX)- Putting limits on the reach of so called “big tech” companies is a priority for South Dakota Senator John Thune.

He says there is some bipartisan agreement on that.

Thune says much of social media has a negative influence on society.

Thune says he is especially concerned about the impacts on young people.

Thune doesn’t have a specific set of suggestions on how best to limit the influence of the big tech companies.
