PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) – Senator John Thune is jumping into the political fray over Artificial Intelligence.

He has introduced a bill to promote AI research, while calling for safety and security guardrails.

Thune says the “light touch” approach in regulating the internet is part of what caused its explosive growth.
