PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds is not involved directly with this year’s mid-term elections in a few weeks. While Congress is off for the election break, Rounds has found himself a world away, literally.
Rounds says African nations are looking for allies to trade with.
Rounds also sees opportunity for agricultural trade especially as some nations change their views on genetically modified crops.
Rounds says the nations he visited have also expressed an interest in American beef and genetics to enhance the cattle they raise.
