PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- District 1 Senator Michael Rohl presented SB10 to the South Dakota Senate State Affairs Committee on Wednesday.
SB10 shorten the time before records of a Governor or a lieutenant governor are opened to the public.
Senator Rohl address the situation in case a governor dies while in office.
Rohl request cutting the time that records can be released from ten years down to five years.
Rohl explains why five years is appropriate.
The committee approved it on a 9-0 vote.
