WASHINGTON, D.C.(KCCR)- South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds wants the benefits and extras received by upper executive at the United States Postal Service removed until mail service to South Dakota and other rural states improves.  On the Senate Floor last week, Rounds says the Office of the Inspector General has presented real evidence from local post offices that hint at efforts to hide reality.

Rounds says the Postal Service has misused millions approved for the U-S-P-S in an effort to improve efficiency.

Rounds is bringing legislation to end executive benefits.

Rounds is also looking to place a holds on every nominee for the Postal Service Board of Directors until efforts are made to correct mail service in South Dakota.
