WASHINGTON, D.C.(KCCR)- The Office of the Inspector General has formally released its investigation into mail service in the South Dakota.  The 30-page report makes three major recommendations.  South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds has been championing a solution and took to social media Thursday afternoon to address the report’s findings.

Rounds says that means South Dakota will get a regional processing center.

During the investigation, the Office of the Inspector General mailed 120 Priority Mail packages.  One package had no tracking information with it.  Of the 119 packages 40, or 34-percent, were routed out of South Dakota.
