PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- U-S Senator Mike Rounds isn’t holding back when talking about snail-like mail service in South Dakota.
After getting nowhere speaking with high level United States Postal Service leadership Rounds reached out to the Office of the Inspector General.
In addition, Rounds has requested anecdotal evidence of the issues with the Postal Service to help the Inspector General’s investigation.
Rounds says it’s an issue isn’t dropping until mail service returns to expected delivery.
Rounds says it’s important to remember the issues are at a high level in the Postal Service and that local mail carriers are not responsible for the delays being seen.
