Senator Rounds expects Afghanistan will remain in the headlines

RAPID CITY, S.D.(KOTA)- In the aftermath of a recent disastrous drone strike which killed ten Afghan civilians, South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds said to expect Afghanistan to stay in the headlines.

Rounds said he believes the decision to call the drone strike came as a result of political pressures.

Despite the bungled strike, Rounds said the US Drone program remains a powerful tool.

President Joe Biden has said he supports a full investigation into the handling of the drone strike.
