Senator Rounds explains his vote against the spending bill

WASHINGTON, D.C.(WNAX)- The one point five trillion dollars federal spending bill approved last week by Congress contains about fourteen billion dollars in aid for Ukraine.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds was one of thirty one republican Senators that voted “no” on that bill.

Rounds says too much policy was included in the spending bill.

Rounds says the state will also receive funding from the bill.

Rounds also is among republican Senators asking President Biden to do more to help Ukraine in its fight with the Russian invaders.
