WASHINGTON, D.C.(KELO)- Senator Mike Rounds says it’s time we protect U.S. farmland from foreign purchase.

He says that’s especially true when the buyers are  U.S. adversaries.

Nearly all members of the Senate agreed…voting in favor of an amendment he offered on defense spending.

The amendment will be included in the Senate version of the National Defense Authorization Acdt that’s being debated in Congress.
