SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- A bipartisan bill drafted by Senator Mike Rounds aims to give Native American Tribes more control over federal food assistance programs.

Rounds says the bill will help improve tribal and federal government relationships.

The vote raises the debt ceiling by $480 billion, which experts say will probably last until December. The limit needed to be raised to avoid default regardless of potential new spending from Congress.
