IDEAL, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota legislators this week approved spending almost $600 million in federal CARES Act funding. In that, about four hundred million is set aside to help small businesses.
Senator Rocky Blare of Ideal says it is a good compromise.
Blare says they found many businesses have survived the worst of the pandemic so far.
Blare says the spending rules can be changed if needed.
Blare is running for a House seat this year in District 21.
