PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – Governor Kristi Noem has proposed a bill to streamline the process for ag developments across the state. There is some concern it will short circuit some local zoning processes.
Senator Craig Kennedy of Yankton says it’s a complicated process.
Kennedy says development decisions should come at the local level.
The Governor’s bill has not yet been heard in committee. Kennedy took part in the District 18 legislative forum Saturday in Yankton.
