WASHINGTON, D.C.(HubCityRadio)- Senator Thune went on the floor of the U.S. Senate Wednesday, going after Democratic leadership on their position regarding what’s happening in Israel.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer(N.Y.) last week called on new elections in Israel.  Senator Thune called this inappropriate.

Senator Thune called out leadership for not going after Iran who’s helping terrorists in the region.

Thune called the attacks on Israel on October 6th one of the darkest moments in history.

Thune believes Israel needs to continue their approach in how to handle Hamas.
