WASHINGTON, D.C.(WNAX)- As a one point nine trillion dollar economic stimulus plan sponsored by democrats starts moving in the US House, complaints are rising from republicans.
South Dakota Senator John Thune says all the previous stimulus plans had bi-partisan support.
Thune, in a speech on the Senate floor, says democrats want to ram this plan through.
Thune says republicans would work on a targeted bill.
The US House is planning at vote on this bill on Friday.
Democratic leadership has said they want to get the bill to President Biden by the middle of March.
