YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Georgia republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker has become entangled in allegations of paying for a girlfriend’s abortion as he runs as a strong pro-life candidate.

South Dakota Senator John Thune says voters have to sift through the charges and counter charges.

Thune says the race is center to control of the Senate next year.

Thune says its all up to the voters.

Thune and other republican leaders have endorsed Walker in his race against incumbent democratic Senator Raphael Warnock.
